we lovers.

this is possibly the most perfect song for my morning mood. ohbijou. they're playing at the roots and blues festival in salmon arm this year. i think i would really like to go.

this past weekend has been a blur. so much happened in so little time! i saw so many people and did so many things. tyler and i had 4 people staying with us for 2 nights, and then 3 for the other 2 nights. thats 6 and then 5 people to one bathroom. seriously. mayhem. tyler and i were both glad yesterday when everyone but sarah left. life can go back to boring normal. we watched two episodes of dexter last night. tyler is a little excited for sarah living with us because it means she will cook meat for dinners and stuff, haha.

sarah got here wednesday evening. her and i hung out for a few hours, stopped by my mom's house to say hi to everyone, and then went back home where we played some games with tyler before bed. or he went to bed, anyway. we stayed up and went through pictures and stuff. it was fun. thursday tyler went to work, and sarah and i hung out. she came with me to voice track at the radio station. and we went to kelowna earlier on and walked around the mall and did whatever. it was a good time. thursday night a BUNCH of people came over. trystan, rob, chris, kendra, matt, erin, brodie, megan, and jasmine. we went to the bar once jasmine and megan got here, and erin, trystan, and rob went home. they missed out on the best part. we danced in all kinds of ridiculous ways. i was HYPER from all the excitement. haha. it was the first time i had had all my closest friends around at THE SAME TIME in years.

friday was the party. i had to work 11-4. tyler and sarah got things ready at my mom's. i stressed out because i didn't really know what was happening. i don't really want to talk about the bulk of the party because i was just stressed out.... it got fun later when most people left and it was just me and my friends hanging out around the bonfire, playing and singing songs at the tops of our lungs, and laughing. oh... it was awesome. i wish we could do that every weekend. dean was also there with us, and occasional visits from my mom, bethany, laura, and many others. the food was pretty amazing too.

saturday tyler and i got up to go clean at my mom's. i ended up super grumpy. tyler wanted to just go to a movie and leave all the people at home. haha. i wouldn't let him. we went home, sarah and her friend went out to hang out, megan got picked up by her mom, and jasmine helped tyler and i get ready for our photoshoot. which included a trip to vv to get suspenders and a vest for tyler. !!!!! his outfit was awesome. i think we both looked great. i am really excited to see the pictures. jasmine came along... there was a lot of laughing. both her and tyler were feeling extra ridiculous. we did more photos at the fair (which tyler had been bugging to go to all weekend! but then it turns out he didn't want to go on any of the rides because they make him sick... he just wanted fair food, haha). it was a fun day, after all. and then we went for birthday dinner for tyler's step brother, chris. we sat at our own table beside their table. it was funny. we didn't stay very long.

sunday, easter of course, was busy too. in the morning jasmine went to hang out with her mom, sarah and her friend went to kelowna, and tyler and i headed over to my mom's house for an easter egg hunt. i couldn't find mine. i got frustrated. grandpa brought it in for me, as i had decided to just let the animals find it and eat it. rhiannon didn't find very many chocolate eggs, so tyler and i hung around outside to help her find the last few. we did find quite a few more after everyone else had decided there were no more. tyler and i left after this, bought some yams and limes, picked up jasmine, and went home. jasmine and i made yam fries. she cut her finger cutting a cantelope though, and had to wait a LONG time for it to stop POURING blood so she could actually put a bandaid on. so i did some of the chopping myself. tyler slept on the couch. then it was time to go back over to my mom's. we were supposed to do family pictures. we got a few shots, dean complaining profusely, and rhiannon reluctant to stand anywhere that anyone told her to. and then laura got us all lined up the way that she wanted from smallest to biggest, and i thought it would be funny to pull rhiannon's hood over her head, AS A JOKE! she got super upset and climbed a tree. so we all got in the tree to take pictures in the tree instead. she got upset at me when i pulled some stuff out of the tree that was hanging in my face and told me that stuff was supposed to be there! and then my mom broke off a branch and rhiannon started to cry. we all got out of the tree, mom helped rhiannon out, and she ran off! no one could find her. so that was the end of our family pictures. i'm only a little surprised we couldn't hold it together. sarah and her friend showed up. we had dinner. tyler, jasmine, sarah, her friend, and i left after dinner and came home. jasmine and i stayed up to hang out, everyone else went to bed. we played hexic.

and the monday... i didn't work, tyler did. jasmine and i spent the morning together. got taco del mar. went to the mall to drop off money for erin, where we ran into trystan and megan. we hung out with everyone while erin took her break, and then trystan and megan went to one exit to their car, and jasmine and i went to the opposite one. we stopped at the bank. and then went to nature's fare to get some snacks for jasmine's drive home. and who did we run into? megan and trystan! and austin as well. after that, jasmine and i headed out to my mom's. as soon as laura and jasmine pulled out of the driveway i felt bummed... the excitement was over. i wish jasmine would just move home. we would do all our favourite things all the time. biking. swimming. painting. cooking. eating. fun clubs all the time!

tyler, sarah, and i made dinner, and watched dexter. it was a nice relaxing night. i enjoyed it.

today i go to work for my parents. it's supposed to rain this morning, and then clear up. i hope it just skips the rain, and clears up. that would be nice.
