hockey hockey hockey... headache.

i am, yes, working at the radio station. operating a hockey game. with a massive headache.

i spent the first half of my day baking cupcakes for andrew's birthday dinner tonight. i made three kinds. two of which turned out. they were chocolate hazelnut and chocolate sundae. the chocolate hazelnut have nutella in them, and are iced with nutella. and then i put ground hazelnuts on top. the sundae ones are FANTASTIC looking. they were vanilla cupcakes (with real vanilla bean) with chocolate fudge icing, hazelnuts, and a cherry on top. they do actually kind of look like little sundaes. i was quite impressed. i also made rootbeer float cupcakes for the second time... but they didn't turn out at all this time. i put way too many mini marshmallows in them. they just STICK like crazy. next time... i'll just make them without i think. or very few. perhaps a few will work better... hmmmm...

anyway... about a half hour before i had to leave to come to work i was overtaken with this intense tiredness. and a headache. so now i am sitting here in the studio listening to a description of what is going on at a hockey game in william's lake... paying enough attention to know when to press buttons. but no more than that. its so uninteresting.

reading the news is fun though. i like talking to much. trying to sound important like news broadcasters do.

sunday funday kind of got boycotted this week. not on purpose though. just because of the birthday dinner. although tyler and i both have wednesday off. but apparently some video game is coming out on tuesday... so i don't know how much time we'll be spending together. haha. oh well... maybe i will go swimming. i think i am going to go swimming tomorrow whether courtenay can come with me or not. i'll just go and do the kicking with a board or whatever. no big deal. still get some exercise. i feel like i should be doing more. i got off to a good start... and then didn't go again. but not on purpose... things just got really busy!

anyway... back to nursing this headache through the rest of this blasted hockey game...
