rocking chair.

i don't even know what i want to write about this morning, but i kind of made up my mind i was going to. i think i just really don't want to start getting ready for work... because i really don't want to go to work. stat holidays are awesome, aren't they? especially when you come back from your two days off, work one day, and then have another one off AND get paid for it. now i only have 3 days left in my week. AND i get paid tomorrow. its pretty awesome.

i got hooked on a new artist that was apparently just waiting to be found on my ipod. lisa hannigan. if any of you have listened to damien rice, she is the female vocalist on his album 'o'. her album, sea sew, is fantastic. i'm totally hooked on it right now. i have been researching canadian artists as well (she is from ireland) to try and push to get something i like on the radio. i've found out a whole bunch of artists i like have put out new albums and i didn't even know! tyler isn't that stoked... considering i don't know how to download things myself, and he has a list a page long of things i want. haha. but the latest stars album is also fantastic. its called 'in our bedroom after the war'. i've been pretty hooked on that too. i also listened to the besnard lakes for the first time. the song 'disaster' is super good. i have a feeling my november play list is going to be fantastic. i'm really excited.

anyway... i should probably go shower and get ready for work. agh.
