crrraaaaazy...

SO much stuff has happened since the last time i wrote. its hard, because we still don't have internet at home. it happens on monday. monday monday monday. i got fired from the pub. it was kind of a silly reason to get fired, but i can't say i am too upset about it. i was relieved, actually. and it's spring and i can start working for my parents washing windows anyway. i will make more than enough between that and working at the radio station. i have also told the radio station that i can pick up anything they want to throw at me. tyler thinks we will be fine. i think he is actually a little excited because we actually get to spend time together again and have whole days together.

today was a monumental day. we got up early, because we had to take the truck in for an oil change. we had already decided we would go out for breakfast when we took it in, because the white spot (which is where we always go for breakfast) is really close to where we take the truck for the oil change. i was finishing up getting ready in the bathroom (make up, hair, etc) and tyler was kind of hanging around. earlier he had asked me if i had to work, i said no, he was excited that we got to spend the entire day together. he pulled me towards him, hugged me and said that he wanted to spend the day a little differently together. i kinda laughed. i thought he was going to make a joke about playing video games or something else i wouldn't want to do. he proceeded to get down on one knee, and pulled a little box out of his pocket. the rest was a bit of a blur... but he said something about how he wanted to spend the day engaged to me. and a few other ridiculously sweet things. i was SHOCKED.

so we spent most of our morning texting people. haha. he took a picture of the ring on my finger, and we would just send it to people and wait for their responses. once we got the truck back. we went to my mom's house. tyler told her. we tried to order my derby skates, but the website wouldn't work. super frustrating. my mom went out to do running around, we left and went to kelowna. had to pick up some stuff at mac and we attempted doing photo booth pictures... but it was out of order!!! total bum out, especially considering i would love to have a cute set of photos to document this day with. oh well. we didn't have anything else to do in kelowna, so we came back. stopped at freedom to see my friend darcy, and get my smiley piercing taken out (in my mouth... got sick of it again...), and tell him the good news. tyler finally sucked it up and called his mom. she works at the bank across the street from the shop, so we went for lunch with her. she didn't believe tyler, totally just thought he was being funny and made hardly no response until i showed her the ring and she realized we were serious. haha. it was funny. she was excited.

after lunch we kinda hung around town, i had to go to the station to learn how to do a newscast on the computer. then we went home and sat down for just a moment, until tyler got a hold of brodie and we went to play catch at the park because it was BEAUTIFUL outside. it was fun. perfect day, really. we went to a pub after that, watched the canucks game (most of it) and now here we are back at brodie's.

best. day. ever.

ps. we also used brodie's computer to order my roller skates!!!!! VERY excited for that too.
