i'm operating hockey currently.
so, i got some awesome planning done for the engagement party. both jasmine and megan are able to come up with laura (YAY!) and rob is coming too (on the bus... sucka!). also, i talked to bethany tonight and she said it was a very real possibility they would be coming to town. all my friends from here are coming. i feel very very lucky. so lucky that i almost feel bad for tyler. haha. his extended family lives pretty far away, and his best friend came down this weekend and probably won't make it back that weekend. he did say maybe, though. which would be fantastic, because i love kevin! i hope tyler doesn't end up feeling like he doesn't have the same support. although... i don't think that will happen. right now when we talk about the wedding, he is more worried about people saying embarrassing things about him. haha. he would just rather that no one said anything about him (which isn't going to happen... ever).
we didn't end up going bowling last night, but no one was all that bummed. kevin couldn't have made it to kelowna for the bowling, and we didn't really have enough people to make it worth our time. so we stayed at brady and suzanne's and played board games (settlers of katan, and the game of things - which is the best ever!). it was a lot of fun. kevin and erin and trystan came over too. lots of laughing.
tomorrow suzanne and i planned a cupcake baking party. i work 6 am to noon, and then the plan is to go over there and bake cupcakes from the martha stewart cupcake book (which she got me a copy of for a housewarming gift). it should be delicious, and perhaps slightly frustrating. haha. i had to have a nap before coming to the station tonight. i was at the bell store in the mall this morning from 10 to 2 live on location! and then i hung out with tyler and brady and kevin for a bit, and had to come home because i was ready to just fall over. i managed to get a solid hour of sleep before coming down here. hopefully that helps with my early morning tomorrow morning. the worst part of my morning is that the clocks go forward an hour at midnight! so i lose an hour! so its really like getting here at 4:30 am. groan. agh. gross.
but i can't really complain, because i don't really ever work lately. haha. i am meeting with the woman who is putting on the our kids have talent contest. have to go over the plan for the evening, and my duties. i'm really excited for it. i think it is going to a big defeat for me to do it, and if i can pull it all off successfully it will prove that there is just one more thing i am naturally good at. i think there is a potential that i could pull it off really well. and i am excited for the kids involved. there are so many talented kids! it should be a good show. i'm excited just to watch, and be right there in the action. i love these kinds of things. other than that... i'm just doing some hockey games... and not much. haha.
that's about all i have to write, i think. no one else has written anything new in a few days! or maybe longer.... COME ON! haha.
