silver waterfalls.

i feel extra productive today. i was expecting my roller skates today, so i was extra excited as i got out of bed this morning. to my dismay, the postman had already been to my house (i had no idea they delivered packages at 8:25) and left a thing on my door knob. so i just got ready for my day, and made a plan to swing by the shoppers when i went out. i burned a cd for my mom (serena ryder - we play her on my radio station, but i absolutely love her) and i made a mix for suzanne. when we played games at brady and suzanne's on friday night i played some music on my ipod and she asked for a cd with a few certain songs on it. seeing as how i had been wanting to make her a cd, but i wasn't totally sure what kind of music she was into... i was glad to oblige. i went by shoppers first because i was excited. the woman there was really unhappy with me, haha. it wasn't marked on my thing, but she told me that they are supposed to mark it that i can't come and pick it up till the next day. i asked if she would take a look and said i would wait - which made her more unhappy with me, but she did it. didn't find my package though. i have been contemplating going by later this afternoon... after that i dropped off my mom's cd and made some plans for working next week (yay some extra cash!) and picked up some eggs. and then i went to suzanne's work to drop off her cd and get mine and tyler's address changed for our drivers licenses (suzanne works at the access center).

i came home, and couldn't handle how messy the house had gotten... so i started cleaning. talked to sarah on the phone for a while because we haven't been talking quite so much as of late. which is weird, because i have WAY more free time right now. i folded all the laundry in our bedroom. put on two more loads. vacuumed the whole house. put everything away in the living room. changed the cat litter and swept the floor in the laundry room. and now i am taking a small break before tackling the dishes. then i will have cleaned the entire house. i was also thinking about perhaps busting out my sewing machine and doing some stuff. i have so much time now! but perhaps today is cleaning day, and then it will be time to think about dinner... and tomorrow would make more sense to be sewing day. especially considering there is a hockey game i have to operate tonight at 6.

i think i need to have my parents over for dinner. dean hasn't seen our new place yet. and neither has rhiannon. i don't think andrew has either, actually. i'm sure rhiannon would love to come over and visit.

i let the cats out on our balcony today. i think amily is still out there. it was really funny watching them sniff around and everything. exploring. it isn't even that big of a balcony - its pretty small. but i guess its the only taste of outside they will get... so i can't deny them that.

i think its time to tackle the dishes. agh.
